Hi all!

I'm Lecter, and I'm the one who has put NoSpectators.com together. I hope you enjoy it!

2005 was my virgin burn. I hail from Chicago, and currently live in Los Angeles.

My interests include (but are not limited to):

Gaming, (board and cards and computer), books, movies, Tolkien, Barker, Gaiman, Gibson, Palahniuk, OS X, XP, FreeBSD, Nvidia, Zork, Quake, Unreal, Neverwinter Nights, Warcraft, Halo, nin, Tool, Manson, The Mutaytor, Laurie Anderson, Matrix, Aliens, Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club, Rocky Horror, The Wizard of Speed and Time, and, of course, Burning Man.

I've put together a photo gallery from Burning Man 2005. My virgin burn experience is in it (some parts subtle, some not so subtle), and I've decided to share it with all of my non-burner friends. I figured that some of you may get a kick out it too:

I kept the photos large, so they may take a while to download. You may need to scroll down in order to see the comments under the photos.

Thanks for looking at my post!

"The Wizard of Speed and Time"

*GASP*

My friend and I used to watch that all the time! NO ONE ever knows what that is! (Well, except the people we forced to sit through it- somehow they never were quite as entertained as we were... <grin> )

Also: I was just thinking about it yesterday, for no damn reason!

Whoa...

I first saw The Wizard of Speed and Time at the New Orleans WorldCon, and fell in love with it.

Picked it up on Laserdisc way back when.

When I moved to Los Angeles, went to LosCon, and someone mentioned it, so when I got back, I looked up the Wizard's website.

Wrote to him and asked to buy one of his posters that he spoke about on the site. He said to come over and I did. Really sweet, really intelligent guy, this Mike Jittlov. Gave me some of his mother's homemade jam.

Yes, living in Los Angeles is surreal!

A friend of mine has the original movie poster, but I've never seen it myself..

It is a must see phlyfiremama!

Fun and campy and full of humor, energy and love.

And if you like stop motion animation, you will worship the film.
