OK...I said it!

Sorry I've not been very active here on the boards for the past few days. But I'm hot and I'm cranky. We've had a heatwave here in LA and I just read that on Saturday, Woodland Hills (the town near me) got up to 115 degrees F.

I'm cranky and I'm hot! Doh...I just said that.

OK...so here's the thing: is it going to be this crazy hot on the playa? I mean, I just checked weather.com and it's currently 88 degrees F on the playa RIGHT NOW! And guess what? It's 88 degrees F in my house RIGHT NOW!

If this keeps up, no Sugar Bear hugs are in my forecast!

Ptui! Grrr. Grrr.

Now that I've got this off my chest, I'll stop kvetching and start participating again.

Remember; just turn that frown upside down. (Did I really say that?) I’ve been watching the Gerlach temperature every day and it was 103 degrees at 7:00PM a couple of days ago. So watch out, bring a big hat and lots-o-sunscreen.

No bad ju-ju was made when I crafted your hat, but it was hot that day too. I was thinking to myself: why the hell am I cutting fur on a hot day like this? I had to think way, way back to 1999 when I nearly froze my ass off that year. 2000 was pretty cold too.

But like I said, no bad ju-ju. Glad you like it!
