Sweet! Thanks Blade! Good advice.

I'm also pretty sure that a waxed-based chain lube is preferable to the oil-based in any case. It's always done the job for me.

Ride your bike a few times before you hit the playa. Make sure everything- -including yourself- -is functioning. Check the shifting, adjust the saddle, make sure your lights work, test the brakes.

- and make sure none of your cool decorative and/ or lighting stuff is going to impede steering, braking, or visibility, or get caught in the tires, chains, pedals, etc.


Or, of course, blow off when you start moving and MOOP everywhere.
