I will say that the title changes slightly at 30. But it will take a bit more to completely move away from virgin territory.
If you come up with a really great title, and ask nicely, I may just let you use a custom one....
Question: Do people want custom titles, or do you like the automated system which shows how much you have participated?

ahhhh i get it now.... the "lurkers" are labled virgins... the frequesnt posters are given new lables. it will be fun to find out what they are.

I think we should let everyone else vote on what the label should be. Heh. Kinda like a weighted name thing. If you've posted so many posts, everyone has an option to click on that person's profile and chose which label they get (maybe a pick list of 8-10 different labels for that level). The label with the most votes is what gets displayed and you're allowed to change your vote at any time (though you only ever get weighed in once).
Of course, someone will probably get pissed about what other people think of them sooner or later and storm off in a fit...here's to hoping that won't happen though.

IMO, if it's a good title, give it to them. Otherwise, run.w.xcors idea about voting titles for people could be funny.

I like the idea of having the option to use a custom title- I think having a quota to get to the next "level" is a cute idea, but has the potential to end up with some people posting a bunch of random stuff just to see what happens, while the people who just may not have a lot to say (especially now, while there aren't a lot of threads yet) will have that darned "virgin" under their name for a while.

As far as Burning Man goes I think it is always great to have a virgin around. That is one of the best ways to relive what it was like the first time.
