and if so, where? is the polls section under the "open" or "polite" rule? not that i wanted to cuss AT anyone, but a few times i've found myself saying things like YOU GOTTA BE F*****G KIDDING ME! or words to that effect. i personally like the full imact of such words, it makes people sit up and really read what you are trying to say, rather than scanning thru a post. i also dont use them randomly, just for the hell of it either, nor would i actually cuss AT any person.
respectfully,

Hi G.O.B.
The first two sections (Welcome Home! and Community) and their sub-forums are listed as Full Respect sections. If you can figure out how to "cuss respectfully," then I have no issue with you swearing in those sections.
Other sections (including the polls section) are open to your radical expression, whatever that be (so swear like a sailor or truck driver if you wish).
Another way to look at it: If someone complains about your language in the first two sections, I'll take a closer look, and may step in. If they complain about you in the other sections, I'll remind them they ventured into radical expression sections and they should avoid them in the future.
Does that make sense?

Looking forward to your examples, GOB.
I think this is a good policy, Lecter. Basically I think you're allowing for freedom of expression but with no abuse or malice (read "flaming") in Full Respect forums.

I really like the way Lecter has divided up these forums. There was talk of doing this at on time on the eplaya, but it never came about. I'm glad to see it happening here and look forward to participating in the experiment.
